Fest-of-Ale sees largest turnout at fourth annual event
The Prince Albert Kinsmen Fest-of-Ale returned for its fourth instalment on Friday at the Ches Leach Lounge inside the Art Hauser Centre.
A record number of festival-goers packed the upstairs of the arena taking in what the over 50 vendors had to offer. With a record crowd in attendance, PA Kinsmen Club Treasurer Daren Solomon deemed the night a success.
“It was spectacular,” he said. “Pre-sale tickets were up and so were the walk-in people so it was the biggest event of the last four. It was fantastic to see the city come out and support the vendors and support the event, and of course, supporting us.”
All the money raised from the event is going back into the community to upgrade and renovate local parks for sports, including the conversion of the Crescent Acres Baseball Diamonds and the resurfacing of the Carlton Park Court to be used for basketball and pickleball.
