Singh wins over judges at Unified 50, secures first win
A man who once called Prince Albert home pulled no punches when he won his first mixed martial arts fight (MMA) last weekend.
Kulbir Singh, 26, was on last weekend’s Unified 50 card at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Alta. Competing in the 130-pound weight class (amateur), Singh fought another newcomer Theo Auigbelle and won by unanimous decision.
“I was pretty confident when I walked in the cage, but a little bit nervous too. But when I threw a few punches on his face, he started shaking so it boosted my confidence level,” Singh explained when speaking with paNOW.
