Feb 22, 2023 | 4:21 PM

One of the two men accused of stealing some larger items like a vehicle, utility trailer, snowmobile and a snowblower earlier this winter will be tried in March.

Stevie Ray Bannerman, age 31, will be tried by judge alone on three charges of possessing stolen property.

He was arrested in November following a review of crime trends by the Prince Albert Police’s patrol and proactive policing unit.

Officers found the trailer, snowmobile and an orange fuel tank on a property in the unit block of 26th Street East.

The following day, Tyson Tobey, age 27, was also arrested and charged after police found a stolen vehicle and the snowblower.

His charges include breaching his probation twice, breaching a release order, two counts of possessing stolen property and fleeing from police.

Tobey’s next court appearance is February 27 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
