A flurry of honours to start the Winter Festival Art Show
This past weekend was a big one for many of the city’s best artists, some looking to take the next step in their amazing journey.
The 47th Annual Winter Festival Art Show and Sale began on Friday at the Mann Art Gallery in Prince Albert.
Some of the finest displays of different art forms packed the gallery, over 150 to be exact. The following day was just as special for these artists as more than 20 awards were handed out to the best of the best.
Among those judging the artworks this year was Saskatoon-born Saulteaux artist Wally Dion who currently lives in upstate New York. Dion was brought in as the guest curator for the show.
