Warm hearts for Christmas

Mittens to warm the soul

Students in several Prince Albert schools today had some big smiles and warm heads and hands thanks to the Kinsmen.

For at least the fifth year, the Kinsmen donated gifts containing toques, neck warmers, and mittens to 470 children at four schools.

All told, 470 wrapped packages were distributed at John Diefenbaker, Princess Margaret, St. Michaels, and St. Catherine’s schools for students in Grades 1 to 4.

The Kinsmen pointed out that the gifts were coordinated with a similar program of the Prince Albert Grand Council that provides winter jackets for people.
