Investigations into numerous robbery cases ongoing, police say

Members of Prince Albert police continue to make progress on several robbery investigations in the community.

The investigations include the latest incident that happened outside a multi-unit residential building Sunday evening.

Around 8 p.m. that day in the 1400 block of 28th Street East, a woman was confronted by two people outside the building. Police said the woman reported the suspects threatened her with a firearm before stealing her vehicle.

Police said the suspects fled in the vehicle heading south on 15th Avenue East. No one was injured in the incident.

Officers are looking for a grey 2003 Dodge Durango SUV with the Saskatchewan licence plate 748 MLX.

The investigation into this robbery along with several other thefts and robberies this past week is ongoing.

Police advise members of the public to stay aware and notify police of any suspicious activity. Keep your vehicle locked and call 911 in an emergency.
