Carlton dominates Bethlehem, will face Walter Murray in round one of Division 1 playoffs
PRINCE ALBERT, SK – The Carlton Crusaders put on a dominant showing on Friday night, stomping the Bethlehem Stars 49-14 at Max Clunie Field.
The win rounds out a strong regular season showing for Carlton finishing with a 4-1 record, helping clinch the third seed in the 6A Division 1 playoffs. Since finishing the season in third place, the Crusaders will square off against the Walter Murray Marauders in round one of the 6A Division 1 playoffs.
Carlton quarterback Sullivan Smith-Windsor put on a show for the home crowd, putting up 252 passing yards and four touchdowns on an amazing 14 of 17 passing attempts. He added 23 rushing yards and one touchdown on four carries.
Crusader receiver Gage Prodaehl also had himself a game, clocking 92 receiving yards and three touchdowns on just five receptions. He rushed for 25 yards and one touchdown on one carry.
