RCMP searching for suspect after truck stolen in P.A.

UPDATE: At 3:00 p.m. RCMP confirmed the suspect, in this case, has been found.

RCMP are searching for a man who fled police after stealing a pickup truck.

On Wednesday morning Big River and Ahtakakoop RCMP received reports of a stolen pickup truck from the Prince Albert area.

The truck was eventually recovered in a rural area near Debden but the suspect left the scene when officers arrived.

Police said he was not wearing a shirt when he fled, and had tattoos and a chain of jewelry around his neck. He was last seen around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday near the correction line on Highway 793 between Victoire and Debden.

Anyone who may have information on this theft or the suspect is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
