A rain delay didn’t hinder the Prince Albert Aces game plan.

The Aces played three games on Friday and took the win in all of them.

P.A got things started this morning about an hour behind schedule but that didn’t stop them from showing the Saskatoon Hustlers who’s boss. Thanks to a seven run third inning, the Aces throttled the Hustlers 13-4.

Game two was a different story where they squared off against the Regina Fighting Saints. The Aces and Fighting Saints were tied heading into the top of the fifth where P.A then blew the door wide open.

With the help of a Sarah McNabb two-run blast, the Aces scored three runs in the frame to help topple the Fighting Saints 5-2.

The third and final game of the day was a contest against the Saskatoon Lazers. Led by a five-for-five hitting performance from Martina Moore, as well as a home-run from both Moore and Abby Wasutyk, the Aces managed a three-run third inning and a seven-run fifth inning to trample the Lazers, 14-5.

The Aces look to make it a flawless round robin by securing a win versus the Regina Royals Reign on Saturday morning.
