Over $30K raised in 4-H Charity Steer raffle

It was a successful weekend for the Prince Albert Regional 4-H Club following their annual show and sale event.

Hundreds flocked to the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre for the event which included the Charity Steer Raffle.

This year, Canwood 4-H chose the steer and the non-profit that would receive the funds.

Following the draw on Monday afternoon, just over $30,000 was raised from the raffle with all funds going to the Victoria Hospital Foundation.

The charity steer program has been with the club since 2001, with local members raising over $320,000 throughout the years.
