New Adventure Park gets closer to opening
A new attraction at Prince Albert’s Little Red River Park will soon start taking shape.
Construction will officially start this week on the Rotary Adventure Park and accompanying zip lines. Keith Fonstad, president of the Prince Albert Rotary Club, was among those in attendance for Tuesday’s ground breaking ceremony.
“It’s been an almost four or five year process when we started figuring out what our centennial project could be and doing the research; making a decision and then getting started and then having to take a pause for a pandemic,” he said.
The park project will include zip lines, swings, and two additional play structures. There will also be added picnic sites, benches, and a shelter along with expanded walking trails to provide activities from toddlers to seniors.
