There will be something for every type of woman at this year’s Focus on Women Tradeshow running March 12 and 13.

Vendors will be selling a range of wares such as chain mail jewelry, baking, aromatherapy flax bags and soap made from goat’s milk.

Robin Nagy is with the Prince Albert Exhibition Association which is hosting the event.

“It’s an annual thing. We do it around this time every year. It kind of coincides with International Women’s Day, but it’s just a spring trade show focusing on vendors that women might tend to lean to,” she said.

As this is the first tradeshow in two years thanks to COVID, the main door prize has been kept since it was donated for the 2020 show.

“This year’s it’s a diamond earring and necklace set from Bocian Jewellers,” said Nagy.

Some non-profit groups use the show to help promote their programs.

In this case, the River Valley Resiliency Retreat, Try 4 Kids Camp and the Royal Purple all plan to have tables set up.

Nagy said that up to 66 tables can be accommodated in the main hall at the Exhibition Centre and so far, 47 have been filled.

Last-minute vendors still have a chance to book their table and a canteen will be up and running.

“There will be a canteen and places to sit down and visit if you want to,” Nagy said.

Admission is $2 with ages 12 and under free.

The show starts on March 12 running from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and will also be open on March 13 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

This is the 34th year the tradeshow has run. Everyone is welcome.

International Women’s Day is March 8.
