Titans defeated by Carrot River in PJHL survivor series
The Prince Albert Titans’ season came to an end at the beginning of this week, as they lost both games of their Prairie Junior Hockey League survivor series against the Carrot River Thunder.
The Titans fell 5-1 on Saturday before an 8-1 defeat on Monday.
The Titans won eight games on the season, with 30 defeats and two losses in overtime. The Thunder, who were third in the Bob Dybvig Division standings, will move on in the PJHL postseason.
The Titans may have struggled at times throughout the season, but it certainly wasn’t because of Ben Zultok. Zultok had 53 goals and 79 points throughout the season, giving him the PJHL league lead in both categories. Zultok won the PJHL’s Most Valuable Player Award this year.
