PAVC boys’ teams dig up bronze at Sask. Cup

Last weekend was a busy one for both the Prince Albert girls’ and boys’ city volleyball teams.

The U16 boys’ team played at the Sask. Cup in Warman and would finish third, after defeating Regina Volleyball Club (White). Earlier in the day, the Smashing Bananas also beat out teams from Saskatoon and Central Valley (26-24, 26-12).

Meanwhile the U18 PAVC team played in Saskatoon and finished third. They played the Yorkton Chaos in the final game and won two straight games by scores of 25-15.

Meanwhile back in Prince Albert, the Prince Albert Optimist Toppers hosted a tournament at Carlton High School.

The U18 En Fuego squad finished third. Here were the final results:

18U
