City acquires three new transit buses, public voices concerns of unreliability
The City of Prince Albert has announced it has three new replacement transit buses. Meanwhile, one resident is voicing concerns with the transit system following sporadic route changes in the past year.
Two buses are on the road and the third will be ready to go in the next week after some preparation.
These newly acquired buses are meant to fill in for the school buses that were brought in temporarily while the City submits a warranty claim.
However, this is not to say the school buses will no longer be used as the claim was made after the transit fleet was taken off the road in April 2021 because of cracked frames.
