Prince Albert’s Sam Cooper is joining the SWAT team.
Cooper was drafted by the Saskatchewan Junior A SWAT in the seventh round of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League Draft on Monday. The 15-year-old was the lone Prince Albert product selected in the draft this year.
He joins Prince Albert’s Waylon Altstadt in the SWAT’s prospect pool. P.A.’s Thomas Ratt has played with the Junior A SWAT, and is on the protected list along with Matt. St. Germain, Bauer Swystun, Tanner Vancoughnett, and Kyler Wiese.
