Alleged drug trafficker pleads innocence, awaits trial

One of five people charged after a drugs and weapons seizure in Prince Albert, has entered not guilty pleas.

Kent Misponas, 26, is facing a total of 13 charges in connection to the incident in January, 2021.

Members of the Prince Albert Police Street Enforcement Team (SET), along with the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT), went to a residence in the 400 block of Seventh St. E.

As a result of their search, officers seized body armour, a rifle, a shotgun, several rounds of ammunition, a starter pistol, and varying amounts of illicit drugs, including crack cocaine and meth.
