Saskatchewan’s premier and health minister are monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19 after a potential exposure during a media conference Thursday.

According to a release from the premier’s office, a person who attended Thursday’s COVID update at the legislative building later tested positive for the virus.

Premier Scott Moe and Health Minister Paul Merriman were at the briefing.

“This individual (who tested positive) does not work in the legislative building; both Premier Moe and Minister Merriman have routinely been monitoring their status with rapid tests and encourage all those in attendance to do the same,” the release said.
