The St. Mary Marauders will head into the Div. II playoffs as one of the teams to beat. After beating the Tommy Douglas Tigers 42-12 on Thursday at Max Clunie Field, the Marauders improved to 5-1 on the season.

The Marauders have been very stingy this season. The most points they allowed in the regular season was 14, but they won that game handily 41-14 over the Bethlehem Stars on Sept. 30. Even in their lone defeat, they only gave up six points in a 6-4 loss to the Walter Murray Marauders on Sept. 24 in Saskatoon.

Playoffs start next week in Saskatoon.
