Arne Oftedal
February 19, 1931 – September 15, 2021

With heavy hearts, the family of Arne Frederick Oftedal of Emma Lake, SK, announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 90 years.

Arne will be lovingly remembered by his children, Don (Marlene) Oftedal, Wendy Abbott, and Doug (Lana) Oftedal; his grandchildren, Dana (Curtis) Dreidger, Robyn Oftedal, Amy (Bruce) Franson, Jason Abbott, Jeff (Melissa Kitching) Abbott, Jada (Shai Bravo) Oftedal, Kolton (Cory Durand) Oftedal; his 8 great-grandchildren; his brother, Thelmer Oftedal; as well as numerous friends, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Eloise Oftedal; his parents, Thomas and Magnhild Oftedal; his sister, Marie Rutherford; and his sister-in-law, Shirley Oftedal.

The Funeral Service for Arne will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at River Park Funeral Home, 301 River Street West, Prince Albert, SK, with Pastor Fran Schmidt officiating.
