Russel Brandrick
June 3, 1939 ~ August 13, 2021

Russel Frederick Brandrick passed away suddenly taking care of his family as he always did on August 13, 2021.

He was born on June 3, 1939 in the town of Carlton to Mary and Eric Brandrick, he was the oldest of five children. Russel stayed on the family farm until he moved to Prince Albert in the spring of 1969. However still maintained the farm by driving back and forth between Prince Albert, Carlton, and MacDowall.

Russel and Agnes were married on September 3, 1971, and they raised 5 children. Russel worked hard for his family, until the age of 74, putting in 44 years of circles in Prince Albert with the City Transit. He always had time to turn a bolt or two and willing to help with whatever vehicle, house or other projects, or when his help was requested. We will miss that he was only a phone call away. Never said no! The word no was not in Dad’s vocabulary! He did not know how to relax, but his children did get him to some of the places he wanted to see.

Russel is survived by his children, Jason, Kristen (John), Jamie (Kandis), Tyler, Michael; his grandchildren, Alex, Ilyahna, Jadin, Jackson, Jada, Alexis, Amber, Ashley, Marcus; and his great-grandchildren; his siblings, Irene Feader, Lillian Garneau, Ed (Rosemary) Brandrick; his brother-in-law, David Brown; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes (nee Hessdorfer); his mother, Mary Giles; his father, Eric Brandrick; his step-father, Shirley Giles; his sister, Hazel Brown; his brothers-in-law, Reg Garneau, Irving Feader; his mother-in-law, Mary Hessdorfer (Henry); his father-in-law, Henry Hessdorfer.

The Prayer Service for Russel will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 19, 2021; and the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, August 20, 2021, both at St. Michael Parish, 1505 13 Street West, Prince Albert, SK.
