Roland George Sewap was born on Friday, December 31, 1982, in Flin Flon, MB, and passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in Pelican Narrows, SK, at the age of 38 years.

Roland is lovingly remembered by his family, his father, Thomas Sewap; his sisters, Deborah (Calvin) Sewap, Mary Ann (Chamus) Sewap, Daralyn, Charlotte Sewap; his brothers, Norman Sewap, Kyle Sewap, Lyle Sewap; his adopted family, Ronnie, Daphne Highway & family; his baby nephew, Ronan Tovias Dwayne Highway; his uncles, Pierre Sewap, Adam (Margaret) Sewap, Larry (Sandra) Sewap, David (Mary) Custer, Roger Custer; his aunties, Maggie (John) Charles, Marriette (Roland) McCallum, Rita (Allan) Morrow, Jane (Elias) Ballantyne; his Godparents, Elias & Jane Ballantyne; his Godchildren, Jocelyn Sewap, Landon Custer, Aurelia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Aileen Mable (nee Custer) Sewap; his brother, Edward Joe Sewap; his infant sister, Montana Sewap; his grandparents, Joel & Flora Sewap, Charlie & Mary Custer; his uncles, Solomon (Mary Ann) Custer, Colin Custer, George Custer, Archie (Jaquline) Custer; his aunties, Emma (Daniel) Ballantyne, Nancy Custer, Charlotte Custer, Dorris (Richard) Merasty, Frances (Charlie) Ballantyne, Barbara (nee Sewap) Michel, April Ballantyne; his cousins, Stephen Custer, Lorraine (nee Michel) Custer, Glenn Michel; his nephew, Demitris McKay.

The Prayer Service will be held for Roland at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Elias Ballantyne officiating. The Wake Services will be held during the evening of Wednesday, August 4, 2021 and Thursday, August 5, 2021, at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, August 6, 2021, at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK, with Elaine Bear and Elias Ballantyne officiating.
