Brian Kirs Gunnlaugson, passed away July 21, 2021, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 60, after a valiant battle with heart disease

Brian, also known as Kris from friends and family, was born on March, 25, 1961, in Saskatoon, SK, and grew up in Shaunavon, SK, with his parents and siblings. Brian worked many jobs throughout his life, always looking for the next thing to do. He enjoyed outdoor activities, and wasn’t much of a homebody.

Brian will be remembered by his beloved partner, Shirley Brook; as a father to his children, Jennifer (Justin), Stacey and Desirae (Andy); will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, and remembered by Seth, Peter, Ethan, Sydney, Serenity, and Carson. He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters, Ann (Don), Gregory (Elyse), Linda (Steve), and Wayne. Family and friends mourn the loss of Brian and will be truly missed. He was predeceased by his mother, Ruth; and father, Frank; brother, Allen; and grandchild, Cornelius.

The Funeral Service for Brian will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Archdeacon Andrew Hoskin officiating.
