Josh Pillar is now a prospect of the Minnesota Wild. Pillar was selected in the fourth round of the NHL Entry Draft Saturday.
Pillar is a 2002-born forward from Warman. He played three years with the Blazers, including an 11-goal, 29-point season this year in 22 games with the Blazers.
Pillar was drafted 127th overall by the Wild, above his 166 ranking among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting.
The Prince Albert Mintos featured Pillar as one of their top offensive threats back in 2017-18, when he scored 50 points in 44 games for the club.
