Cleanfarms sets regions for fall collection of old Ag pesticides and livestock medications
LETHBRIDGE, AB. —
Cleanfarms, the Canadian non-profit organization that ensures that Canadian farmers have opportunities to manage agricultural waste responsibly, has set the list of this fall’s collection locations.
The locations will be collecting unwanted, old agricultural pesticides and obsolete livestock, equine and poultry medications so that farmers can dispose of the materials safely and in an environmentally responsible way.
There will be 52 locations in the three western provinces, including eleven in Southern Alberta and 20 in Northern Saskatchewan.
