It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Grant Edward King, late of Parkside, SK at the age of 83 years.  Grant will be lovingly remembered by his wife Frances King; his daughter Sarah-Louise (Greg); his son (grandson) Derrick King; his granddaughter Illiana King; his sister Amy Schenck (Walter) as well as several nieces and nephews.  Grant was predeceased by his parents Oscar & Ida King; his sisters Beulah (Ted), Vivian (Lawrence), Miriam, & Eleanor; his brothers Alvin, Ferdinand, Conwell, Richard (Edna), & Lenard; and his nephews Todd & Glenn.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 17^th, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Shellbrook Funeral Home in Shellbrook, SK, with Reverend Phong Tran officiating.  Honourary Pallbearers will be Ken McCormick, Rick McCormick, & Neil McCormick.  An Interment will take place at a later date.  Condolences can be sent to the family on our website at www.mackenziechapel.ca.  Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium – Shellbrook Funeral Home.  Brian & Bev Stobbs, Renee Phaneuf & Mark Gyoerick. 306.763.8488.
