John Zacheus McCallum was born on Wednesday, January 13, 1954, in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 67 years.

John is survived by his loving family, his companion, Sally Rita Bear; his children, John (Veronica) McCallum, Rachel (Richard) Michel, Simeon McCallum, Clayton (Thresa) McCallum, May McCallum; his sisters, Charlotte Bear, Jean (David) Glennon, Angelique (Pierre) Jobb; his brother, Patrick Bighetty; his favorite grandchildren, Kiefer, Rico, Ricardo, William, Maison, Rica; his godsons, Lyle Michel, Bernard Jr. McCallum; his grandchildren, Olivia K., Owen, Oren, Olivia W., Jenaris, Sauna, Jara, Courtney, Alanna, Savannah, Mary, Samantha, Kiara, Richelle, Rosie, Reyna, Raelyn, Rosanna, Ritchie, Raquel, Cassidy, Cassius, Cherish, Thrishilla, Chasidy, Tamika, Clarence, Becca, Oliver, Tylor, Mya, Benjamin, Aden; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; his in-laws, Susan (McKay) Custer, Angus (Gladys) McKay, Eliane (Howard) Bear.

He was predeceased by his wife, Doreen McCallum (nee McKay); his parents, Richard (Alice) McCallum; his son, William McCallum; his in-laws, Benjamin (Florence) McKay; his brother, Oliver McCallum; his sisters, Rose (Stanley) McKenzie, Suzette Jacobs; his 3 grandsons, William Jr., Baby McCallum, Baby Sam; his 2 granddaughters, Lauren McCallum, Clarissa Beatty; his aunties & uncles, Sarah & Julius Bear, Margaret & Henry Cook, Rodrick & Mary McCallum, Veronica & Pierre Morin, Mary & Alex Bear; his in-laws, Christina (Emil) Ballantyne, Elizabeth Linklater, Charlie McKay, Walter McKay, Joseph McKay; his best cuz and friend, Roy Dorion; his nieces & nephews, Viola McKenzie, Virginia McCallum, Robin McCallum, Ranson McKenzie.
