Daniel Josh “D.J.” Lee Ballantyne “Rattle Child” Sisikwan-Awasis FANATIC was born on Sunday, May 28, 1995, in Rosthern, SK, and passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 26 years.

D.J. is survived by his loving family, his mom, Connie Ballantyne; his step-father, Robin Longjohn; his uncle (Godfather), Ben (Randi) Ballantyne; his brothers, Brent (Danica), Julian Jim; his step-sisters, Shannon McLeod, Desirae Bird; his step-brother, Robin Jr. Longjohn; his best friends, Anthony Peeteetuce and Walter “Splisik” Kahpeechoose; his grandpa, Samson Ballantyne; his father, Vincent (Tanya) Ermine.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Beverly Ballantyne, Charlie Buglar; his chapans, Basil & Josephine Gardipy; his brother, Aubrey Pocha-Adams; his aunties, Leigh Oxebin, April Lightning; his moshom, Calvin Sand; his kokoms, Rosalyn Lightning, Debbie Gardipy.

Private Wake and Funeral Services will be held for Daniel, with interment to follow at Beardy’s & Okemasis Cemetery, in Duck Lake, SK.
