Jean Baptiste “J.B.” Custer was born on Thursday, March 3, 1949, in La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Monday, March 17, 2021, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 72 years.

J.B is survived by his loving family, his children, Gilbert George “Gus” (Georgina) Custer, Jamie (Harvey) Michel, Kelly (Kenneth) Custer, Cheyanna Cooper, Leon Sanderson; his special granddaughters, Megan Custer & Denise Custer; his grandchildren, Joanne, Colleen, Carol, Karen, Edwin, Preston, Kayleigh, Stewart, Nathaniel, Christian, Johnathan, Benjamin, Mathew, Mercedes, Jeremy, El, Pierce, Michael, Jordyn, Sophia, Aaliyah; his great-grandchildren, Jacob, Serenity, Brittany, Sarah, McKenna, Natalie, Victoria, Damien Jr., Faith, Grayson, Lilly, Emerson; the mother of his children, Susan Custer; his son-in-law, Kevin Pearson; his sisters, Nancy Custer, Marie Natewayes, Louisa (Steve) Hunt; his brother, Derrick Custer (Mary); his step-children, André, Misty, Craig; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother, Marie Bear; his grandparents, Johnny & Suzzette Morin; his daughter, Sheri Custer; his twin brother, Opwanask; his brother, Robert Custer.

The Prayer Service for J.B. will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 20, 2021, family and friends unable to attend the service may view it online at http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/13425 . Private Wake and Funeral Services will also be held for J.B., with interment to follow at Moise Bear Memorial Gardens, in Pelican Narrows, SK.
