RCMP looking into possible abduction of Regina woman
The Saskatchewan RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who may have been abducted in Regina, as well as the man whom police believe is involved.
On Saturday, a person called the Regina Police Service and reported receiving what police called “a concerning message” on Facebook from Stephanie Bruch, a 30-year-old woman from Regina.
The Regina police contacted the Saskatchewan RCMP. The Mounties’ investigation identified a suspect and his vehicle, and a search began involving officers from the Saskatchewan RCMP canine unit, the Melville, Wynyard, Fort Qu’Appelle and Punnichy detachments, and the Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit.
The suspect was identified as 29-year-old Kelly Baht, who is described as 6-foot-0 and 158 pounds with a medium build, light brown hair and blue eyes.
