Wakaw RCMP searching for missing 34-year-old woman

UPDATE: The RCMP have announced Jade Sutherland has been located safe and sound.

Wakaw RCMP are asking the public for some assistance in locating a missing 34-year-old woman.

Jade Sutherland was last seen leaving the One Arrow First Nation on Wednesday, April 21. She left in a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu with the Saskatchewan license plate 001 LWZ.

Sutherland is believed to be headed to Saskatoon. RCMP say she may also be in Beardy’s and Okemasis Cree Nation as recently as April 27, but this has not been confirmed.

Sutherland is described as Indigenous, 5-foot-5, 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP. The family and police want to confirm her well being.

RCMP did not provide a photo.
