Joan Ellen Hewison

September 19, 1938 ~ February 21, 2021 

It is with great sadness we announce Joan Hewison passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on February 21, 2021 in Prince Albert, SK.

Joan was a kind, loving and generous lady who, besides her church activities, enjoyed staying active by walking, having coffee and playing cards with her family and friends.

Joan is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Yaremko (Earl Lancely), Angela Hewison (Bruce Mah) and Penny Koslowski; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Richard Bennett and Thomas Bennett; sister Constance Bennett; and numerous close friends and extended family.

Joan is predeceased by her husband Glenn Hewison; son Roland Hewison; parents Richard and Eileen Bennett; and brother Alfred Bennett.

We would like to thank Dr. Johnson and Dr. Manna of the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic, Dr. Kemp, Rev. Rick Martin and a special thanks to the Home Care team for all their support, care and compassion through this difficult time.

At Joan’s request, a Private Family Celebration will be held.
