Cornelius Gordon Ballantyne was born on Thursday, March 4, 1948, in Robertson’s Island, SK, and passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021, in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 72 years.

Cornelius is survived by his loving family, his sons, Keenan, Thomas, Brian, Darrell, Dustin, Curtis, Jay A. Reno; his daughters, Nicole, Stephanie (Kenneth), Sikwan, Carrie; his adopted children, Travis, Simpson, James (Jamie Jamie); his brother, Allan (Bernadette); his sisters, Caroline, Margaret, Joyce (Earl); his step-siblings, Jennifer, Dinah, Joseph; his in-laws, Jeannie, Jonas; his childhood best friend, Samson; his grandchildren, Danton, Flora, Jasmine, Charmaine, Harvey, Starla, Cornelius, Shaylyne, Ariel, Adrian, Robin, Clarrisa, Flora, Ashley, Joseph, Darrell Jr., Lalayna, Lynay, Jameson, Kira, Jadine, Devin, Merlynn, Roderick Jr., Chrissy, Julius, Keifer, Hailey, Andreas, Shandrey, Trisha, Jasmine, Jessica, Cindy, Sheena, Shayna, Shaylene, Carson, Wayne, Skyshun, Trinity, Angel, Myra, Marlon, Reva, Leo, Winston, Kayley, Ethan, Sherice, PattyLou; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
