Desi John Bird

January 4, 1990 ~ February 6, 2021 

It is with great sadness that the family of Desi John Bird announce his passing on February 6, 2021 in Saskatoon, SK.

Desi was born on January 4, 1990.

Desi is survived by his mother Christine Bird of Montreal Lake, SK; father Jerry Cook of Stanley Mission, SK; sisters Josephine Bird (Joey) and Xena Bird (Riley); brothers: Andrew Bird, Michael Bird (Iris), Timothy Bird, Jason Bird, and Brian Bird (Kitana); aunts Nancy Bird and Cindy Bird (John); uncles Henry J. Bird and Raymond Bird; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Desi is predeceased by his grandparents Robert Z. Bird and Louisa Jane Bird; aunties:  Evelyn Darlene Goodwin, Stella Bird, Sylvia Bird (in infancy), Eva R. Bird, Mariam Bird, Harriette Bird and Maria Bird; and cousin Melvin Bird.

Wake Service will commence on Thursday, February 11, 2021 and Friday, February 12, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021.  Both services will be held at St. Joseph’s Anglican Church, Montreal Lake, SK.  Interment will be held at the Montreal Lake Cemetery.
