Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) have charged two more people – a man and woman – in connection with the death of Dylan Chretien, whose remains were found just outside city limits more than a year ago.

This brings to seven, the number of people who have been charged in the case. The latest arrests involve the most serious charges to date.

PAPS issued a media release Tuesday, saying on Monday, investigators charged a man and woman with First Degree Murder.

The 25-year-old woman from Saskatoon is facing one count of First Degree Murder. The 24-year-old man from Prince Albert is facing one count of First Degree Murder and one count of arson.

Both accused are currently in custody on unrelated charges. They are set to make their first appearance in Provincial Court on Wednesday February 3 at 9:30 a.m.

Chretien was reported missing November 2, 2019 and found deceased on December 4th, 2019. His death was determined to be the result of foul play.

Chretien’s mother spoke to paNOW in March, 2020, saying “…the evil people that did this need to answer to their crime,” as she called on the public to come forward to police with any tips.

Police have again asked anyone with information about this homicide to contact the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
