Kenneth Allan Kennedy was born May 28, 1930 on the homestead in Deer Ridge on Section 33, Township 5, Range 1 West of the 3rd Meridian. He passed away January 5, 2021.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Arlene; his sons, Lenard (Becky) and Lorne (Sandra); his grandchildren, Chrystal, Brett, Kim, Cory, Robby, Kyle, Holly, Alex, Katie, Terry, Jess, Brody and Alicia; his precious great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Bertha; and his brother, Gordon “Bud” (Carole).
Ken worked as a parts man at John Deere and in sawmills in Alberta. He lived on the farm for 56 years before moving to Prince Albert. He always had time for a visit.
Ken and Arlene travelled in later years, visiting Scotland, England, Australia, New Zealand, Cuba and Alaska. They also enjoyed three special cruises. They were also fortunate to have visited the World Trade Centre in New York City.
Ken moved to Mont St Joe Care home and always appreciated the care the staff provided for the nearly four years he was there.
A Private Family Service for Ken will be held. A live stream of the service will be available on the First Baptist Church Facebook and Youtube websites at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
