Betsy Ruth Ballantyne passed away in Stanley Mission on Saturday, December 26, 2020.  She was born in La Ronge, SK to Rosalie and Tom Ballantyne on February 7, 1971.

Betsy is lovingly remembered by: her companion, Robert Charles Sr; her son, Lyndon Roberts; her daughters, Nicole Ballantyne and Sam Ballantyne (Shanel);  her grandchildren, Shanay, Shyla and Addison; her mother, Rosalie Ballantyne (Bob Charles); her father, Tom Ballantyne (Doreen); her brothers, Mannix Ballantyne (Lynn Naylor), Precious Ballantyne (Kendall Cook), Jason Ballantyne and Shane (Colleen) Ballantyne; her sisters, Vanessa Ballantyne, Bonnie Ballantyne, Lucy (Victor “Gorbie”) Ross and Tracy Ballantyne; her aunt, Beatrice McLeod; her uncle, Ernest (Laura) Ballantyne; her special niece, Montana Ballantyne (Ambrose Hardlotte); numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

She was predeceased by: her brother, Peter T.K. Ballantyne; her grandparents, Peter Isaac Ballantyne, Mary Lydia (nee McKenzie) Ballantyne, Solomon and Agnes Henderson, and Cornelius Ballantyne Sr.; her uncles, William “Edward” Ballantyne, Mark Ballantyne, Arthur Henderson, Johnny Henderson, Fred Henderson, Christian Henderson, George Henderson and Jack Henderson; her nephew, Izaiah W.M. Ballantyne; and her aunt, Louisa Henderson.

Wake and Funeral Services will be held for Betsy in Stanley Mission, SK with interment in the Stanley Mission Cemetery.
