Dec 1, 2020 | 5:59 PM

The alleged actions of a 34-year-old woman last Friday morning in Prince Albert, might be considered bold even by a career criminal’s standards.

Around 7:30 a.m., a police car was stolen from the police station parking lot. The vehicle was located minutes later near 32nd St. and 1st Ave. W. after colliding with a snow bank.

Damage to the police vehicle was minimal and included some minor damage to a light on the front bumper. No one was injured.

The accused has been scheduled to make her first court apparance on Monday.

In the meantime details related to how the vehicle came to be taken remain unclear. Police spokesperson Charlene Tebbutt was asked by paNOW to explain.

“I think’s that’s all information we are looking into at this point,” she said.

Tebbutt said the Prince Albert Police Service is committed to transparency and is reviewing this incident. No further details can be provided at this time.
