It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Madeleine Knutson. She passed away peacefully on Monday November 23, 2020 at her home with her husband of 50 years by her side. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her. Madeleine is survived by her husband Jerry, her two sons Cory and Darcy, her granddaughter Caitlyn. Her sisters: Lorette, Mary, Dianne, Beatrice, Betty-Anne and Elaine. Her brothers: Robert, Allan, Fred and Wayne. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Irene Carriere and her brother Denis Carriere. Her nieces and nephews: Danielle, Olivia, Clayton and great niece Sloane, Jamie, Jeremy, Clinton, Jessica, Joel and great niece Katarina. Madeleine had many interests; gardening, flowers and indoor plants, she had a real green thumb. She was creative and knowledgeable. Her yard, garden and deck were always beautiful and colorful. She loved and tended passionately to her Koi fish pond that she designed. Madeleine had a great sense of humour and loved family gatherings. She loved to sit around the fire pit and have great conversations. She had a feisty streak, however was a very caring, kind and loving person. She had a great personality and a strong beautiful spirit. She was a big fan of the Blue Jays and Saskatchewan Roughriders. She loved being on the lake during the summer fishing and the winter ice fishing. Madeleine loved her lake-front home, it was her peaceful and calm place.
