Agnes Thomas, “Agenchoos”, was born on Tuesday, February 10, 1942, in Southend, SK and passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020, in Southend, SK, at the age of 78 years. Agnes is lovingly remembered by her family, her brothers & sisters, Margaret McKenzie, Bella Michel, Anslem Thomas (Mary), Napoleon Thomas, Virginia Bird (Jonas), Alvina Halkett (John), Georgina Bird, Delbert Thomas, Brian Thomas; her son, Calvin Cook Sr. (Delores). At 9 months old the Thomas family had raised Calvin as their own little brother and as Agnes’s son, through the guidance of their parents, Phillip and Catherine till their passing. She also leaves to mourn her nieces and nephews; her grandchildren, Martina, Kimberly, Katelyn, Myles, Merredi, Calvin Jr., Koby, Chloe, Dylayni, Darryl, Roberta Bird, Lichelle Halcrow; her special niece, Laren Halcrow; her special nephew, Terry Bird; her special friends Catherine Jobb, Angie Jobb, Jackie Olson (her travelling companion), Emma Bighetty, Eva & Veronique Clarke, Sylvia Bird, Rosie Clarke, Nancy Ballantyne, and Adelaide Bear. She was predeceased by, her parents, Philip & Catherine Thomas; her brothers, Adolph Thomas, Leslie Martin Thomas, Brian Thomas, Victor Wayne; her sister, Veronique Cook; her grandparents, Charles & Sarah Thomas (Ballantyne), Lucy Custer; her brother in-laws, Adolph Cook, Richard McKenzie, Gilbert Michel; her sister in-laws, Nancy Thomas (Okemai), Joan Campbell, Linda Thomas (Clarke); her nephews, Darryl & James McKenzie, Ivan Halkett, Curtis & Victor Michel, Truman Bird, and Phillip Thomas. A Private Wake and Funeral Services will be held for Agnes, with interment to follow at Southend Cemetery, Southend, SK.
