Police investigating the death of a man after report of gunshots

The Prince Albert Police Service are investigating the death of a 28-year-old man that occurred on Tuesday night.

According to a media release, around 11 p.m. that evening police were dispatched to the 700 block of 13th St. W. after receiving a call about gunshots in the area. Officers found the 28-year-old man dead at a nearby home.

This is the second reported shooting in the last three days. A neighbour told paNOW she heard five gunshots.

The police say there is no risk to the public at this time and the investigation remains ongoing. There will be a large police presence in the area for most of the day.
