Gerald (Gerry) Bonneau
October 9, 1957 – September 18, 2020
Gerry passed away in Prince Albert at the age of 62 and was born in Spiritwood to Paul and Bertha (nee Roy) Bonneau. He spent his childhood years in Spiritwood until the family moved to Prince Albert in 1972. He was a happy, busy young boy and could often be seen riding his bike or checking out the local pool hall. He loved to help his Dad at the service station. It was in Spiritwood that Gerry met and made a lifelong friend, David. They remained friends until his passing. Once in Prince Albert, he was afforded many work placement opportunities, most notably, Par Industries. There he gained basic carpentry skills and once again, made another lifelong friend, Dave. Gerry loved cars and eagerly awaited the new editions of Hot Rod magazine and Autotrader.
Gerry is survived by his sister Rita (Ron Jr) Lehner and her children Amber (Brent) Pilon and Joshua (Tasha Jurgens) L’Henaff, his sister Annette (Trent) Coulthard and their children Chelsea and Heather, and aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, father and mother, his sister Louise, and two infant brothers, Gregory and Michael, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28 Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Drew Gray officiating. Private Family Interment will take place at South Hill Cemetery following the service. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be not be a reception following the service.
