20-year-old man arrested for indecent acts along Rotary Trail

A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly performing indecent acts along the Rotary Trail this summer.

According to a media release, Alex Norman Morin is facing charges of indecent acts while in a public place after an investigation by the Prince Albert Police Service reported on June 25, July 7 and July 20.

Morin was arrested on Sept. 19 at 5 p.m. near the Rotary Trail and Blackwood Drive after police received a report similar to the other incidents.

The Prince Albert Police Service’s Patrol, Community Policing, Criminal Investigations and Child protection Units were all involved in the investigation.

Police say incidents on June 25 and July 7 were reported from the same area on the Rotary Trail near 24th St. W. The July 20 incident was reported on the trail near Ninth Ave. W.

He has been charged with four counts of committing an indecent act and two charges of obstruction to a peace officer in relation to these files.

He appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning.
