Mark Allan LaLiberte was born April 20, 1968 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and passed away on July 26, 2020 in Edmonton, Alberta.
He took his schooling in Prince Albert and Edmonton and completed his Grade 12 diploma by correspondence in 1993. He became a Citizen of the Metis Nation of Saskatchewan in 2019.
Mark worked at various jobs throughout the years and was a hard worker. He worked moving furniture, operated equipment in warehouses, did metal fabrication work and also some work in the roofing business. After regular work hours he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone needing help, especially if it involved moving furniture.
Mark’s most notable hobby was Art. His special skill was pointillism in black and white which required hours and hours of tedious work. He dabbled in other genres, but always came back to this favorite. For breaks he would enjoy movies, music or a round of “Game of Thrones” on his phone.
Mark was predeceased by his mother Catherine Johnstone and his brother Chris Laliberte. Mark leaves to mourn his daughters Teagan Mincone, Kristen Minoose (Mark Larocque); sisters Michelle Johnstone, Adeline Johnstone, brothers Darryl Arcand (Tanya Hiltz), Gerald Johnston (Amanda Paxton); sister in law Carrie Laliberte, and all of their families. He will also be missed by Grandma Lorna Johnston, step parents Wendy & Myrle Johnston and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
