JOHN HUGO ENEQUIST

September 8, 1943 ~ July 16, 2020

John Hugo Enequist was born September 8, 1943 and passed away July 16, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.  John was born to Henry and Mabel Enequist and had a brother Harry (Linda), sister Hilda Bond and sister Helen (Vernon) Halverson. He married Margaret Wright on March 25, 1972. John worked as a mechanic which was his drive and passion.  John was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it.  He had a great love for his family as well as his church family and friends.  He had a strong love for God and enjoyed going to church and worshipping God.

John is survived by his wife Margaret Enequist; his children David Enequist, Carey Enequist (partner Andrew), Cathy (Jayson) Curniski, and Kelvin (Karlie) Enequist; his grandchildren Kierrah, Taylor, Jordan, Nash, Katie and Oneale and great grandchild Soyer Beau; his brother, Harry (Linda) Enequist; his sister Helen (Vernon) Halverson as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

John was predeceased by his sister, Hilda Bond, mother, Mable and father, Henry Enequist.

A visitation and viewing will be held Wednesday July 22, 2020 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Gray’s Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held Thursday July 23, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gateway Covenant Church.  Following the service there will be a graveside in Birch Hills Church.
