Loaded modified shotgun seized during arrest

A 39-year-old man is facing numerous weapons-related charges following his arrest in the city Thursday evening.

According to the Prince Albert Police Service, members of the Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) initiated a traffic stop in the 300 Block of River Street East.

The vehicle was stopped around 8:40 p.m. and upon further investigation, officers located a loaded, modified shotgun and ammunition.

The man is also facing one count of breach of probation.
