Alexander August Ballantyne “Mimi” was born on Monday, July 30, 1951, in Pelican Narrows, SK and passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in Viney Lake, SK, at the age of 68 years. Alexander is survived by his loving family, his wife, Angelique Ballantyne (nee Sewap); his sons, Abel, Raphael, Jonus Sewap; his daughters, Marjorie, LeeAnne, Carla; his brothers, Noah, Gordon D., Angus Sewap; his sisters, Frances (Leland) McCallum, Doreen (Corey) Ballantyne, Betty Lou Linklater, Madeliene Roberts, Donna Highway, Lorna Bear; his brothers-in-law, Arthur Ballantyne, George (Ida) Sewap, Gilbert Sewap, Angus Sewap; his sisters-in-law, Lydia Merasty, Katie Ballantyne, Sarah Merasty, Nora McKay, Mary (Ernest) Custer; his friends, Napoleon Thomas, Thomas Custer, Johnny J. Ballantyne; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William Ballantyne Sr., Annie Ballantyne; his brothers, Ovide, Peter, Mervin, Philip; his sisters, Baby Ballantyne (in infancy), Virgina Anderson; his son, Kevin Ballantyne; his daughter, Debbie Gail Ballantyne; his in-laws, Philip Sewap, Lola Sewap (nee Ballantyne), Mathias Sewap, Abel Ballantyne, Jean Ballantyne, Sophie Merasty, Alice Ballantyne.
