Denise Elaine Bougie, known by many as “Deb” or “Neecy” passed away suddenly at the age of 52 years on May 1, 2020 in Uranium City, Saskatchewan.
Denise leaves to mourn her loss her children: Courtney (Scott) Lenko, Zachary Bougie, Max Jacob Bougie and Louise Storm Bougie (Brendan Roberts); grandchildren: Peyton Lenko, Kateri Larocque, Connor Lenko and Bryson Roberts; sisters: Sherry Anne Johnson (Ken Frantz), Joyce Petterson, and Louise E. Bougie Still (MaSouer); brothers: Paul Bougie Jr. and Jean Joel Bougie; nieces: Lilah Peterson, Melissa Barkway, Desiree Severson, Geminie Bougie, Jean Joan Bougie, Heather Brown, Jewell Bougie, Meagan Bougie, Phawn Bougie, Zaida Johnson, Georgina Sommers, Sierra Larocque, Kennysha Frantz, Seanna Larocque and Ella Johnson; nephews: Sean Bougie, Sheldon Johnson, Tyrone Frantz, Maxwell Larocque and Thundar Johnson; two special girls; Rita and Rose Larocque, as well as numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Denise is predeceased by her parents: Jean Marie and Jean Paul Bougie; grandparents: Mary and Hildor Johnson, Éliane and Léon Paul Bougie; Senator Allan Bird; nephew Wade Johnson, as well as numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Paul Bourget, Robert Tetrault, Bernard Bougie, Alphonse Lavallee (Fonzie), Robert Lavallee, Regan Powder (Regan Began), Michelle Johnson (Lummies), Ronalda Vandale (Little B), Little Irene Bradfield, Josie Powder, Lisa (Bertha) Powder, Harold Johnson, Evitt, Bernadette Larocque (Granny), Jane Mercredi (Plain Jane), Merrilee Shott (Baby Girl), Rhonda Lee Oliver, Harold Grasley, Jack Grasley, Paul Powder, Delores Augier, Cathy Hartley, Andrew Schultz, Marylee Larocque and Collen Collier.
