Fred Allen Smith

June 3, 1945 ~ April 17, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Fred Smith announce his passing on April 17, 2020 in Prince Albert, SK at 74 years of age.

Fred was born on June 3, 1945 in Lashburn, SK to Wesly and Emma Smith.  Fred loved to work on vehicles mechanically as well as autobody work in his younger years and as he got older, he did a lot of travelling.  He especially loved the mountains.  He also had a big heart and would help others in need when he could.  For work, he did construction when he was young and eventually went into farming.

Fred will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Carol (Frank) Salisbury, Lorraine Smith and Marilyn (Travis Ebach) Smith; his grandchildren Aaron, Sean, Emma, Sarah, Alyssa, Morgan, Earl, Wesly, Kyra and Hunter; great grandchildren JJ, Emily, Victoria, Brooklyn, Addilyn, James, Aurora, Theodore, Zayden, Grace and Emil; ex-wife Linda Smith; Uncle Sam (Iris) Smith.

Fred was predeceased by his parents, Wesly and Emma Smith as well his sister, Carol Smith.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
