Triple homicide case adjourned, defence awaits evidence report
A man accused of murdering his parents and young son was not present in person or via video, when the case was discussed Wednesday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
Nathaniel Carrier’s attendance was waived for the short hearing. Legal aid lawyer Terra Lennox-Zepp spoke on behalf of the 28-year-old, and explained she was still waiting on disclosure. The case was subsequently adjourned to May 1.
On the afternoon of March 28, the bodies of Denis Carrier, 56, Sandra Henry, 56, and seven-year-old Bentlee were found on the property where they lived in the 300 block of MacArthur Drive. Carrier’s five-year-old daughter Kendrah was found suffering from serious injuries, and was rushed to hospital.
In addition to the three counts of first degree murder, Nathaniel Carrier has also been charged with the attempted murder of the young girl. Family members have told paNOW she remains at a hospital in Edmonton in stable condition.
